For Michael O'Neill's side, it was a disappointing end to their first ever European Championship match, and first major tournament appearance since the 1986 World Cup.

Northern Ireland's second game of the tournament starts at 5pm on ITV against Ukraine. You have Unionists who want Northern Ireland to remain part of the United Kingdom, and they tend to be Protestants.

"That we are here in France at all is thanks to the team spirit, if there is one player who thinks otherwise then we will going back to Poland after three games", said Krychowiak.

He will be ably assisted by Arkadiusz Milik, the opening goal in the 2-0 win over Germany was among six scored by the Ajax man in Group D.

"We believe we are capable of getting out of the group". We will analyse the game and see where we could be better.

"We were nearly playing 5-4-1 at times which means Kyle does get very isolated".

With a nod to the loss of two recent friendlies, he said (Polish Football Association president) Zbigniew Boniek told the squad not to put pressure on themselves.

Flash Flood watch in effect with more storms Thursday
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch across much of Oklahoma following heavy rainfall across the region. On Wednesday afternoon Houston Transtar still reported more than 25 high-water locations from rainfall over the weekend.

"We will be ready to face them". The team dominated the Group C match from start to finish and could have easily scored more were it not for some erratic shooting. I don't think there's a need for a final message. "There was more tension in that Greece game arguably than there will be tomorrow night because there was so much at stake, so I don't have the concern the occasion will overawe us at all".

"Downtime's fine, we have a day off today and we'll go into the local village, get out of the hotel for a couple of hours, get coffees, just chill out, enjoy each other's company". Milik himself had missed the target with two efforts in the first 10 minutes and struck the side netting with a rising shot from a good position in the 31st.

"It's only natural that Michael is being looked at by different clubs and maybe the opportunity will come on for him to move on in the future", states Davis. Thus, Poland are the favorites to win this game.

Northern Ireland, whose striker Kyle Lafferty was their only player in the opposing half for much of the game, soon paid for their defensive approach.

- Northern Ireland registered just two attempts versus Poland; the joint-lowest total by a team in a European Championship match (between1980 and 2016) alongside Czech Republic vs Portugal in 2012.

"We have been promised a few tickets each, but we might be scrambling around for a few more when it comes to it", he adds. "It's a learning curve for us and hopefully we can learn from it".

Northern Ireland's 30-year wait to play in a major global tournament ended in disappointment after it was beaten by Poland on Sunday.
