Guilford County baby found safe in Randolph County

A missing infant from Guilford County was found in Randolph County, according to Capt. Robert Hamilton with the Guilford County Sheriff's Office.

It is believed that the baby is with Jimmy Ray Pearson and Allissa Corrinne Fink.

814 Robbs Ct Lot 2 Greensboro NC is an address provided in the Amber Alert, but the connection to the case was not provided.

The Guilford County Sheriff's Office is searching for Joseph Richardson Pearson. Pearson is described as a 28-year-old white male with brown hair and blue eyes; he's 5-foot-4 and weighs about 140 pounds.

The child was last seen leaving Chapel Hill Hospital with his mother and father.

Human remains have been located near the vehicle belonging to Eunice Gass, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. Hospital officials were concerned about the child's injuries and contacted the Department of Social Services. They say DSS will have custody of the boy once he is found.

He's been charged multiple times with credit card theft, felony breaking and entering, and larceny.

The Amber Alert was issued about 2:45 p.m.
