"Voter fraud can not be tolerated by anyone in this nation", Pence said, before taking a page from Trump's book by accusing the media of "no doubt trying to rig this election with their biased coverage".

This was in contrast to his running mate, Donald Trump, known for his off-the-cuff remarks and self-written tweets railing against Republican Rep. Paul Ryan, speaker of the house.

"I will tell you at the time", Trump said during the debate.

The crowd roared as Pence took jabs at Clinton and her foreign policy.

Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence speaks during a campaign rally today in Mason, Ohio.

"I think it was a pretty rough and tumble debate up there..."

"Republicans have a unsafe and divisive candidate bearing the standard for their party and Republicans in New Mexico will have to answer for that", Haaland said.

While several Republican lawmakers are rushing to distance themselves from Trump, Pence's support for his running mate has appeared, at least publicly, to be unwavering.

"It's not exactly a fair fight out there", Pence said of the media. In the past week, Trump has repeatedly raised alarms over an unproven conspiracy that the media, Clinton and global bankers will rig the results of the upcoming election.

He riled cheers from the crowd when he promised, under Trump's leadership, conservative Supreme Court justices, an end to Obama's health care plan and an end to the "war on coal" in lieu of an "all-of-the-above" policy on natural resources. And judging by the immediate post-debate reactions, he pulled it off marvelously.

Alec Baldwin's son Rafael gave his nose a playful honk while strolling through Manhattan on Tuesday. "(But) I think it's getting a little nasty right now. "Well he's got the voice down very well".

The plan also includes forbidding foreign lobbyists from raising money for US campaigns.

If a write-in vote for Mike Pence gets counted for Pence electors, those electors could choose to vote for the Trump ticket.

"It was Clinton who failed to renegotiate a status of forces agreement in Iraq that had all U.S. troops leave at the end of 2012 and create the vacuum in which ISIS was literally conjured up out of the desert to overrun vast areas that had been hard won by the American soldier", Pence said.

Pence also chimed in on the latest controversy surrounding Trump-whether he will accept the results of the election if he loses. "And we have to have the sheriffs and the police chiefs and everybody watching", Trump said at the time.

With the November 8 election a mere 28 days away, the Indiana Governor encouraged Iowans to have faith and to pray specifically for America. "I know that there is voter fraud", Laurie Brown of Charlotte, N.C., told NPR outside a Trump rally in that city on Friday.

Judging by the last event Donald Trump's camp held in Albuquerque, hundreds of supporters and possibly some protesters could make it out Thursday.

"One of the great traditions of America is the peaceful transfer of power".

"Mike Pence has a politician's sense, Trump doesn't", said Durango native Sanlyn Maslak, 20.

Gallegos-Bird said he's supported Trump since he announced he was running, and is optimistic about the results of the election.
