Apple's new 10.5-inch iPad is rumored to have a bezel-free edge-to-edge display and with the same body size as the existing 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

Reports last week claimed Apple would avoid a gathering this time around and just opt for a press release.

Exactly one week ago today, we told you that Apple could be planning a subtle release of its new Apple iPad Pro tablets this week. Apple traditionally has closed the Apple Store on the day of new product announcements, and tomorrow's five and a half hour shutdown dovetails perfectly with earlier rumors calling for the imminent release of the Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch 2, the Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2, the Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch, and the Apple iPad Mini Pro.

There have been heavy speculations about the iPad Pro 2017.

Finally, the large 12.9 inch model is rumored to be unveiled during the next month.

Coming to the release date, it could be anytime from March 20 to 24, but some reports are arguing that statement, saying it will be released in April instead. In addition, the 10.5-inch iPad is said to feature a virtual Home button.

The device is expected to feature a almost bezel-less design, which means despite having a larger screen, it will be the same physical footprint as the 9.7-inch iPad model.

The site also reports that the existing 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be getting the True Tone display, which is now limited to the 9.7-inch model.

As MacRumors points out, Apple typically issues its press releases at 8:30am PT, which is when the store is scheduled to come back up.

Usually this would occurrence will be accompanied by a launch event, but Apple has not sent any notifications to the media this time around.

Apple has been contacted for comment concerning the delay of the launch of the trio of new iPads, but is yet to respond.
