Aunt Jemima frozen pancakes, waffles, French toast recalled The Associated Press

The New Jersey-based food giant said in a statement that it initiated the recall after testing indicated the existence of Listeria monocytogenes in environment of the manufacturing facility.

The product codes for the Aunt Jemima products subject to the recall.

Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk.

Among those being recalled are the "lil' Griddlers" pancakes, French toast and sausage meals and several lines of waffles.

Japan, China, South Korea agree to resist United States protectionism
During a trilateral meeting in Yokohama, Japan, on Friday, finance ministers of the three countries agreed to resist all forms of protectionist policies obstructing free trade.

"All affected distributors and retail and food service customers are being notified and the affected products are being removed from store shelves". Healthy adults might suffer only flu-like symptoms, pain in the abdomen and diarrhea.

The FDA advises people not to eat this food.

No illnesses have been associated with the product so far, the company said.

The company says affected products can be returned to the place of purchase for a refund. According to the company, this suspicion only has to do with the frozen products with "Best By" dates, not the dry mixes and syrups.
