"Dancing With the Stars" kept delivering surprises throughout Season 24, and Tuesday's finale was no exception, as Rashad Jennings nabbed the Mirror Ball Trophy over presumptive favorite Normani Kordei.

Kordei' partner, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, said she is probably the best female contestant the show has ever had.

A 2009 seventh-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jennings spent three years with the Giants before being released earlier this offseason. A combination of viewer votes and points from judges will determine who wins it all. The judges have each given their piece on what they think about the trio: Jennings is the epitome of character development, maturity, and growth; Ross is the embodiment of the show's mission; and Kordei is lauded for her perseverance and endurance.

Rashad Jennings lamented during Monday night's episode of "Dancing with the Stars" that he'd never won the big game.

Jennings follows in the footsteps of previous DWTS winners who played in the NFL: Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and Donald Driver. Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson and Lawrence Taylor have also competed on the show. Will Smith, Almodovar open a testy Cannes Film Festival
Security was greater than ever at the French festival, with stepped up efforts to restrict access and even an anti-drone system. With Netflix they get the benefit to watch what they never would have seen, it brings great connectivity to them to the world.

Ross has taken some ribbing for participating on the program, and as the final commercials aired, the locker room mindset had changed little, if at all. He even helped to choreograph his Freestyle. "I was made fun of a lot because I was a 0.6 GPA, chubby kid with glasses and all that good stuff".

"I mean I was expecting, hopefully one ten". Slugger Kyle Schwarber even took a break from a postgame interview session to listen in for the winning couple.

Then, Jennings was announced as the victor over Ross, who was the first ever baseball player on the ABC show. They certainly worked hard enough for it.

Rashad Jennings has told stories of coming up just short in every championship quest he had previously taken, including all those in his eight-year National Football League career.
