The well-known talk show host sat down in a room for a private interview with Jenkins just weeks after former National Football League star Aaron Hernandez was found dead of an apparent suicide in his prison cell.

In the new promo for the interview, Jenkins-Hernandez tells the host she does not believe that her fiance's death was a suicide, as authorities ruled. She says he was upbeat in their last telephone conversation before he was found hanged and there was no indication he was suicidal.

"I felt like we were looking so bright", she added. "He may have been at the wrong place at the wrong time, but I don't think what has been said to be out there to be accurate", she said.

But Jenkins Hernandez said she doesn't believe the state's version of events. "I did see that it was addressed to "Shay" instead of "babe" or 'bae, ' the way he would refer [to me]". In a suicide note to his fiancée that became public last week, Hernandez mysteriously told her, 'YOU'RE RICH'.

Hernandez's death came days after he was acquitted in a 2012 Boston double slaying.

CBS Sports reports that since Hernandez's 2013 murder conviction was overturned, the Patriots owe him - or his estate - more than $6 million.

A two-part interview will air on the "Dr. Phil " show on Monday and Tuesday at 4pm on CBS 3.

"It's just not the Aaron that I know". She also says that she "wants answers". "There is some unaccounted for time and things weren't done properly", Jenkins Hernandez said. She acknowledged on the show that the handwriting matched Aaron Hernandez's "although there are odd things about it". She says that Aaron spoke to his daughter the night before he died, and talked to her about coming home soon and sleeping in bed with her and her mother. McGraw said that seemed to him Hernandez told his fiancee he was going to kill himself. "I remember him saying, "Babe I've got to go, they're shutting the doors" and I honestly don't think we said I love you to each other, and that was it". He killed himself on April 19 at the Souza Baranowski facility in Shirley, days after he was found not guilty on double murder charges.

"She would think 'How could I not have known?"

But investigative reports and Hernandez's own note to Jenkins Hernandez suggest he had studied what the ramifications of his death might be.

An inmate who was in prison with Hernandez said that the tight end recently talked about a "rumor" that if a convict dies with a pending appeal, then the court would view him as not guilty, which is exactly what happened on Tuesday when Hernandez's conviction was vacated in the Lloyd case due to the fact that he died with a pending appeal.
