Several of the top prospects will only go through the basic measurements (if that) and sit-down interviews with the teams in attendance.

Markelle Fultz's time at the NBA Draft Combine will be brief, and it will not include an interview with the Orlando Magic, sources told the Orlando Sentinel.

Icon SportswireVince Carter, 40, was drafted when many of this year's top prospects were infants.

NY needs a point guard this summer - whether in the draft or free agency - but their roster is unsettled with Carmelo Anthony on the trading block and Derrick Rose entering free agency. Teams may meet with up to 20 players.

NY (31-51) has a 5.3 percent chance to land the No. 1 overall pick and the opportunity to draft Fultz, the 18-year-old stud point guard who visited the Garden in May for a game and said "it'd be amazing" to be drafted by the Knicks.

In addition, the Sixers will have four second-round picks: Nos.

If the Lakers are mulling over the choice between the two, Fultz's appearance could give him the edge in the minds of general manager Rob Pelinka, president of basketball operations Magic Johnson and head coach Luke Walton, who will all be present. The meetings can last no longer than 30 minutes. Both Fox and Fultz are expected to be lottery picks.
