He also blamed Prime Minister Modi for the severe hit taken by the tourism sector in the Valley in the wake of the unrest. "Whosoever takes law in own hands would be dealt with appropriately", she said and cautioned people against "nefarious designs" of some "negative elements" who wanted to derail the developmental process in Jammu region by creating an atmosphere of hate.

She said the current situation in the Valley is because of the fact that the previous Government didn't carry forward the process initiated by the late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and ex-PM AB Vajpayee. "This is not a sign of weakness but an indication of strength and power", she told the gathering.
