In the video, an officer in Jupiter tells Woods his shoe is untied.

He also appears to be unaware of his surroundings.

"Good, there you go, keep going". Woods, 41, blamed the incident on medications. During the initial line of questioning, Woods is adamant that he hasn't had anything to drink, and subsequent blood-alcohol tests proved he was telling the truth - Woods blew a 0.0. "I can't unlock my two bracelets", he says, his speech slurred, as he turns to show the deputy the "bracelets" in question.

"I'm concerned about him", said Steve Stricker, the Presidents Cup captain who chose Woods as one of his assistants.

The former world No 1 was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning in Florida after being found asleep at the wheel of his parked vehicle. Woods is to be arraigned July 5 in Palm Beach County Court.

Woods, a resident of Jupiter Island, has not played professionally while recovering from back surgery in April, his fourth such procedure since 2014.
