He was arraigned and is being held without bail.

He has been charged with first degree murder.

The 28-year-old man faces a slew of charges, including first-degree murder and reckless endangerment. Desper and Roberson were trying to merge into the same lane.

Police in West Goshen Township - who have been inundated with tips from across the nation - Saturday afternoon released a new surveillance image of the red pickup truck and indicated it may have been seen heading south on Route 352 (Middletown Road) toward Delaware County minutes after the shooting.

"This is a story of a savage and senseless murder", Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said during a news conference Sunday.

Police executed a search of Desper's residence, and a.40-caliber handgun was found in the defendant's bedroom, Hogan said. According to police, he bought that weapon legally in November 2015 and has a permit to carry this firearm.

His parents, Fred and Cindy Warmbier, said their son has been in a coma since March 2016. "This is a Trump-led effort", one said. He said that over the past 18 months, Warmbier's family has "had to endure more than any family should have to bear".

"As Bianca was merging from two lanes to one, there was a man in a red pick up truck also merging down and they jockeyed for position and he wasn't happy", Hogan said. They urged the suspect to turn himself in. Desper turned himself in to West Goshen police with his attorney at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Hogan said a crucial piece of evidence actually came from the body of the recent Rustin High School graduate. They said she had planned to attend Jacksonville University in just a few weeks.

Bianca Nikol Roberson was driving home from a shopping trip with her father Wednesday, June 28, when she was shot and killed by another driver, NBC Philadelphia reported. "Every second you are out there you are only making this worse for yourself and making this worse for this young lady's family".

"She was everything to me, everything, everything", Roberson said. "What should be a time of great joy and celebration in a young person's life has turned into a disgusting tragedy". An older brother passed away several years ago from a heart condition.

Before David Desper's surrender and arrest, the Chester County police offered a $5,000 reward for any information that will lead to the killer.
