According to Frontier, the new flights start at $39.

Today's announcement is part of a national announcement where Frontier is bringing low fares to 21 new cities and 85 new routes, which will include 90 percent of the US population.

Frontier's new flights to Columbus and LA/Ontario are new nonstop designations among all the carriers serving ABIA, airport officials said.

Starting August 16, the large green letters of Frontier Airlines will be taking off at its newest destination, beginning to phase in 11 direct routes and bringing 10 new destinations to MacArthur Airport.

Frontier now serves a total of 22 destinations from CVG.

Gimenez. "More service means greater options in fares and schedules, key indicators of an airport done right". Those flights will begin in October, said Tyri Sqyres, Frontier's vice president of marketing.

Daily service to Orlando begins December 10.
