According to TMZ, Gaga has already provided the court a written statement regarding the texts; however, Dr. Luke's attorneys want to question the singer about the conversation. Gottwald's legal team is claiming that she has important information from Kesha, and that Gaga's team allegedly redacted large portions of their text messages.

Page Six spoke to his lawyer, Jeffrey Movit, who said the messages were "heavily redacted" and 'one of the four pages was redacted in its entirety'.

Still, text messages that passed between Gaga and Kesha following the incident were entered into evidence in 2016, which a judge later sealed, according to Rolling Stone.

She may not be the only celebrity taking the stand in the near future: "In connection with Dr. Luke's defamation claims against Kesha, various third parties are being deposed by both sides, including celebrities", his lawyers confirmed in the statement. "Dr. Luke's team is attempting to manipulate the truth and draw press attention to their case by exaggerating Lady Gaga's role and falsely accusing her of dodging reasonable requests".

In 2014, Kesha sued producer Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald) with claims of sexual assault and battery, and to seek a termination of contract.

The Kesha vs Dr. Luke saga continues - and now, Lady Gaga is involved.

Is Lane Kiffin Interested In The Ole Miss Coaching Job?
MS coach Hugh Freeze resigned instead of being fired Thursday for what Ole Miss called a pattern of personal misconduct. Ole Miss never considered firing Freeze for anything in either list of NCAA allegations against the football program.

In 2016, Sony announcedthat Dr. Luke was no longer CEO of Kemosabe Records.

Lady Gaga is facing the prospect of a nightmare deposition. The court ruled against Kesha in 2016, and, citing emotional fatigue, she ultimately made a decision to drop the charges.

Luke and his team have also apparently been trying to get Gaga - née Stefani Germanotta - to sit for a deposition since March.

Luke's counsel did so because they believed that Gaga has relevant information about the false statement Kesha told her against Luke.

As reported by Pitchfork, Kesha has denied a preliminary injunction and most of her counterclaims have been dropped.

In February, Gaga showed her support to Kesha in a tweet. After making repeated offers to travel to her for the meetings, Dr. Luke's lawyers have expressed feeling that all other options have been exhausted.
