Beating See you Again, #Despacito crosses the 3 billion mark on #Youtube, becoming the most viewed song, as per reports. Universal Music launched the "India Dance Video" of "Despacito" in collaboration with National Award-winning choreographer Shiamak Davar recently. The hit track from Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee has been a staple of the season, rocking everything from the club to the beach, and everywhere in between. The decision came days after the song set a global streaming record, garnering more than 4.6 billion plays across all streaming platforms since its release in January.

The song, which also features Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber has also broken the record for most weeks at number one on America's Digital Song Sales chart - at 14.

In YouTube record terms, Psy's 'Gangnam Style' was left in the dust Friday with 2.92 billion views. "Thank you so much", Fonsi said in a statement.

"I'm super excited and grateful to everyone who supported the song and video on YouTube, and happy to inspire and impact so many lives", Khalifa said in a statement.

The music video is now the most liked video on YouTube history, and is considered one of the most popular song of all time. I recognise the influence that the platform has.

Since its release in January, "Despacito" has streamed over 771 million times in the U.S. through July 20, and is now No. 1 on video and streaming charts.
