Rocket League Reveals Mario And Metroid Series Vehicles

The Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League is getting some Nintendo-themed cars and accessories as free content when the game releases on the Nintendo Switch sometime this holiday season.

Victor or nominee of more than 150 "Game of the Year" awards, Rocket League is one of the most critically-acclaimed sports games of our generation. The two cars are identical except for the color, and the one you get will depend on which team you're on.

Nintendo Switch Battle-Cars will be available exclusively for Switch owners without additional cost and you can unlock them for bonus style points.

Along with these comes a Metroid battle vehicle that is themed after Samus' gunship. Likewise, the "Wave Beam" Rocket Boost is exclusive to "Samus" Gunship'. The Battle-Cars will be available as special unlockables when the game is launched on the Nintendo Switch this winter.

Rocket League is a futuristic action-sports game where players pilot rocket-powered vehicles in an enhanced version of soccer by driving their vehicles into the ball and other players in a variety of arenas.
