Unlike her beleaguered on-screen counterpart, Julia Louis-Dreyfus has proven she can always cinch the votes. "First I really want to recognize [the] powerful and amusing ladies in our category ... you are superb and I adore you". As the show is now coming to an end, its lead star even teased that they have a "great final season" to offer. She claimed that the next (and last) season of "Veep" had planned a "whole storyline about an impeachment" that was ultimately abandoned because "someone else may get there first".
