On Monday, Brown said that Embiid would be limited to minutes "in the teens" at the start of the season.

The star, oft-injured center, who played in 31 games last season (his first 31 in the National Basketball Association after being the third pick in 2014), did not like to hear that coach Brett Brown estimated Embiid would play "somewhere like in the teens [in minutes]" as the season tips off.

"I didn't know about that, but [the minutes restriction] is very disappointing", Embiid told reporters Monday. Embiid estimated he'll play around 16 minutes per game.

While far smaller than it was in the '70s, it was still interesting since it hadn't been around for over four decades. Antarctica is still in the clutches of winter, and the Weddell Sea is usually still covered in sea ice.

"I got a voice", he said.

"I always think I have a voice so I'm sure they're listening to what I have to say too", he said. "I don't know, I wish I was playing more but we're going to see how that goes". But instead of ramping up his playing time for their first game, the Sixers are planning on keeping his minutes restricted to somewhere around 15.

"You think it's smart to save four minutes to end a game with him, but the canyons in between where he just sits there and sits there and then he's got to come in and save the day, I don't know if I like that", Brett Brown said. Embiid never fails to bring delight to his fans whenever he shares an entertaining content that even his National Basketball Association peers take a peek. "Definitely going to have my opinion on that, and they're going to hear me". Over just 31 games, he averaged 25.4 minutes a game. Embiid spent most of this summer rehabbing last year's season-ending injury and didn't fully participate in practices to start training camp, although he has since appeared in two preseason games. "We're going to discuss it, but at the same time I trust them, I trust the doctors, and even if I feel good, they have a plan behind it". Now with more talent and healthier players on their roster, expectations are higher for the team and the 7-foot center to become a winning group once again, especially with all the attention they are getting.
