Harvey Weinstein has gone under fire after multiple female Hollywood stars, including Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, accused him of sexually harassing them.

"I think everyone needs to stop, I think it's wrong", she added.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which hosts the Oscars, described the sexual abuse allegations against Harvey Weinstein as "repugnant" and "abhorrent" and said that it would be holding a meeting on Saturday to discuss any action to be taken.

"It's not like they're going to talk to everyone Weinstein has ever talked to", one law-enforcement said.

Though dozens of women have told stories of sexual predation by the Hollywood mogul in the past week, beginning with reports in the New York Times and the New Yorker that blew the story open, Weinstein has never been criminally charged. "She likes to push herself; she wants to see how far she can get", the Goop founder said.

"I was also terrified that this sort of thing had happened to so many women I know but no one had said anything because of fear". He then asked whether she felt it was a conflict to be his nanny while pursuing an acting career and smirked when he asked whether she would "flirt" with his friends to get ahead.

Weinstein and his brother Bob, co-founders of Miramax Films, burst onto the indie scene with "Sex, Lies and Videotape" in 1989 and turned relatively low-budget films like "Shakespeare in Love" and "Pulp Fiction" into huge box-office hits. Male actors, including James Van Der Beek and Terry Crews, have also tweeted about their experiences and why victims often feel powerless to come forward. "I'm not doing OK but I'm trying".

With the allegations pouring in, Weinstein was sacked by his own company, and his wife, Georgina Chapman, reportedly plans to divorce him.

She claimed Weinstein made advances towards her in a hotel room after asking her to kiss another woman.

His attorney Charles Harder said last week that the initial New York Times story, which also included allegations that Weinstein had reached confidential settlements with his accusers, was "saturated with false and defamatory statements" and said that he was preparing a lawsuit.

'It's really inspiring to see that in a young woman.' the Avengers star said.

"A second chance, I hope", Weinstein said in a video shot Wednesday outside daughter Lily Weinstein's Los Angeles home obtained by ABC News. Prime Minister Theresa May says a decision about the honour would not lie with Downing Street. "Our thoughts go out the victims, to those who have had the courage to testify and to all the others".

"Based on information referenced in published news reports the NYPD is conducting a review to determine if there are any additional complaints relating to the Harvey Weinstein matter", J. Peter Donald, of the NYPD's DCPI told the outlet.
