Former Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly, whose brashness and unique methods turned him into a polarizing figure in the city, will soon decide whether to accept a college head coaching offer from UCLA or Florida, according to ESPN. But it seems Kelly has honed in on Gainesville or Los Angeles as his next coaching destination, and it would take something big to change his mind.

Kelly, who last coached the San Francisco 49ers in 2016, is widely believe to choose between Florida and UCLA.

An unidentified college football program has contacted Kelly's representatives "to discuss possibilities should an opening occur at their University", according to the FootballScoop report.

The Gators have been conducting a head coaching search since firing Jim McElwain earlier this season.

UCLA made a surprising move to fire Mora and pay his almost $12 million buyout, something that is quite uncharacteristic of the Athletic Department. However, Kelly is 44-5 at the collegiate level during the regular season and 46-7 as a whole. The Bruins are believed to be attractive to Kelly given his West Coast ties, but have the drawback of being an Under Armour school (Kelly has a long-standing relationship with Nike founder Phil Knight dating back to his OR days).

Tennessee fired coach Butch Jones after a Week 11 loss to Missouri. Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated reported that Kelly will likely be the top target of the Bruins.

Nebraska is expected to fire Mike Riley after Friday's regular-season finale with Iowa.
