Here's When You Can Score Walmart's Black Friday Deals Online

Walmart, the nation's largest retailer, is tweaking its Thanksgiving and Black Friday traditions this year with more doorbuster-style deals, also offered in advance online. Apparently, you don't need to leave your house - oh, and it doesn't even have to be Black Friday.

Most Sears stores will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving and close at midnight, then reopen at 5 a.m. on Black Friday.

Target's Black Friday event starts at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

While there will be some Walmart products that can only be scooped up online, most of the in-store sale items will also be available for purchase at

New this year, Walmart is color-coding its departments in-store and in its circular so that shoppers can easily find what they're looking for in potentially large Black Friday crowds.

Those sales will continue before, during, and after Black Friday, as the stores announced their Black Friday hours and sales in a press release Tuesday.

Best Buy will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and will stay open until 1 a.m. Friday. At Kmart, they will be able to shop for day-after-Thanksgiving deals. Blu-ray movies start at $3.99 on Black Friday.

Walmart is doing away with its rolling door-buster deals, so all in-store deals will be available at 6 p.m.
