LeBron James and Dwyane Wade play for the Cleveland Cavaliers, but they were taken aback by the Memphis Grizzlies' decision to fire head coach David Fizdale on Monday, as Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reported.

Memphis is mired in an eight-game losing streak and owns a 7-12 mark this season after advancing to the playoffs in 2016-17.

While the Grizzlies plan to introduce interim head coach J.B. Bickerstaff to the media Tuesday morning, more National Basketball Association stars who have played under Fizdale publicly scoffed at the news. "Coach Fizdale represented the Grizzlies and City of Memphis proudly, and we wish him well as he continues his career".

The former Grizzlies coach made a huge mistake by sitting out a struggling Marc Gasol throughout the fourth quarter, opting instead to ride the hot hand of his small ball lineup, but failing to yield the right results, as his team proved unable to overcome a 14-point deficit to start the quarter, resulting in an eighth consecutive loss. But I know the type of coach Fiz is.

JuD chief Hafiz Saeed released from house arrest
In 2006, the Pakistani government held him for several months for activities "detrimental" to its relations with other governments.

"If I'm not on the floor, I'm not valued", Gasol said.

A day later, Grizzlies brass fired Fizdale. Like, this is what happens, you lose when your best players are out and when your whole team is wiped out. The Grizzlies stood atop the Western Conference with a win over the Golden State Warriors and two over Southwest Division rival Houston.

Fizdale said that benching Gasol was nothing personal against his All-Star center, but he felt the players who were in the game gave the Grizz the best chance of winning.

This will be the second time as an interim coach for Bickerstaff, who will start Wednesday night in San Antonio against the Spurs.
