During BlizzCon's opening ceremony today, Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan revealed that the game is getting a new support hero and a theme park map based on the company's various properties. But the most interesting of all, was a brand-new hero named Moira, a shadowy character with ties to Talon and Reaper's past, who focuses on dealing damage, while healing her teammates.

In accordance with BlizzCon, Blizzard updated its official site with more information on the upcoming Overwatch hero. She will also sport a movement ability, fade, which will allow her to quickly teleport over a short distance.

Moira is the latest hero, and she'll both the opposition away with shadow while she heals her allies. Her ultimate looks like a combined super-beam that heals all allies caught in it, or drains all enemies.

In addition to Moira, a brand new Overwatch map was shown off as well.

Moira will be available to test on the PC's public test region soon and available to play next year.

Finally, we leave you with this new Overwatch short called "Honor and Glory" that tells the emotional - seriously, there might be tears - story of how Reinhardt and his brother fought during the Omnic wars.
