Harlem Rapper Finally Meets His 81-Year-Old 'Words With Friends' Buddy

The pair met last summer when they were randomly paired up on Words with Friends, an online game that is similar to Scrabble.

Spencer Sleyon, 22, started playing the popular game "Words with Friends" with 81-year-old Roz Guttman of Palm Beach County more than a year ago.

His tweet has been retweeted more than 147,000 times, including by the Words With Friends account, which replied: 'We can't get enough of this! Since then, they have played more than 300 games.

Sleyon's tweet, and accompanying photos of the two embracing each other, have over one million likes and thousands of re-tweets - clearly, people love these two.

"I was like, yo, how do you know that word?"

On Saturday, Spencer finally met his opponent in person when he flew to her home state of Florida to pay a visit. We played 300+ games together and she actually ended up becoming a good friend of mine.

Words With Friends also called the story "amazing" on Twitter. When Sleyon was visiting his friend a while back, Butler overheard them talking about Guttman. Today I got to go to Florida and meet her in person'.

The meeting was made possible by Amy Butler, a pastor of Riverside Church in New York's Morningside Heights whose daughter is friends with Spencer.
