The district is still looking at elementary school proposed changes.

Police in OH say a 7th-grader apparently brought a gun to school and shot himself inside a bathroom. The high school in the neighboring area was being evacuated.

The seventh grader was taken to a local hospital where his condition is unknown.

Jackson Police Chief Mark Brink said in a press conference Tuesday afternoon that the boy had been armed with "distraction devices" but did not have any explosives.

The child said that he would "shoot up the school before the end of the school year", according to school officials, who added that the school was not in any imminent danger.

Real Madrid fightback By
Asensio opened the scoring in the eight-goal thriller, however, inspired by Joaquin, Real Betis took a 2-1 lead into the break. Leganes will hope that a poor Real Madrid side turns up so that they can get a result from this game.

Authorities say the boy suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside the boy's bathroom. It's not clear yet whether the shooting was intentional. Officials are still reviewing whether schools will be opened on Wednesday.

Students are in the process of being released to their parents.

Police are investigating how the student obtained the gun and how he brought it into the building.

Police reported the incident happened in a boy's restroom, and the rest of the students and staff have been deemed safe.

Also, the district is taking into consideration students who want to remain at their current schools.
