Additionally, BLACK PANTHER #1 is coming out at just the right time.

It's often the case that when a film sets a new record on opening weekend, it creates a long-lasting domino effect.

The film with the nearly all-black cast was expected to do well, but its four-day holiday weekend opening haul of $242 million in the USA and $427 million worldwide was better than expected. This makes the Ryan Coogler directorial the second highest four-day box office collection in the United States, only after Star Wars: The Force Awakens which stands at 288.10 million dollars. Never in a million years did we imagine that you all would come out this strong. "Filmmaking is a team sport".

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama sent congratulations to the makers of the superhero movie after a weekend of blockbuster box-office takings.

So why has the film been such a hit?

Not since Alex Haley's 1976 book and miniseries "Roots", whose painful and powerful depiction of slavery forced a cultural reawakening among African-Americans, have we seen a phenomenon like the superhero film "Black Panther". "He "gets" the character of Black Panther like no other, and his designs for the Intergalactic Empire are...well, they're out of this world!" How will the Black Panther respond to this injustice?

If there's anything society has learned in recent years it's that representation matters. Actor Chadwick Boseman plays King T'Challa, known as the Black Panther. Okay, he's actually really selfish, because he has a claim to the Wakandan throne and he wants Wakanda to take over the world with him at its head, but he mentions briefly that he's doing it on behalf of oppressed people, so he has delusions of selflessness.

7th-grader shoots himself at OH school
Police reported the incident happened in a boy's restroom, and the rest of the students and staff have been deemed safe. Also, the district is taking into consideration students who want to remain at their current schools.

This is mostly problematic because the film's very premise lies in a sense of pan-Africanism - that black people around the world are tied by a claim to Africa and therefore, can share a bond regardless of experience.

Actress Brie Larson, star of forthcoming Marvel release Captain Marvel, is among many to champion the scheme. He showed up and talked to the audience about the impact of this film. With the likes of Danai Gurira's Okoye and Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia also playing a part, it flowed on from the previous shot without rehashing what came before it.

"As a kid, growing up, when you see somebody who looks like an older version of you doing something awesome, it's like, 'What's going on?'" he said.

On Tuesday, Marvel Studios posted an emotional letter from Ryan Coogler on its official Instagram page.

Black Panther's success extends beyond America's borders.

The film has many interesting ideas.

The fact a key action sequences was filmed in the Korean city of Busan is understood to have driven its popularity. The film was brought in $426 million worldwide, and today the word comes down that "Black Panther" Tops Lifetime Gross Of Marvel, DC & X-Men Films.
