Xiaomi May Launches MI TV on Valentine's Day

It sports a dual camera at the rear which is the combination of 12-MP and 5-MP sensors with f/2.2 and f/2.0 apertures, respectively. It won't be available out of the box but, will be introduced via an OTA update in March.

The initiates launching of the smartphone by the Xiaomi marks its first foray into the televisions segment in India, which is regarded as the much-awaited arrival of the smartphone Xiaomi and the entire credit goes to the company's low prices formula. It would decline in gold, rose gold, blue, and black, and would run on Android Nougat with MIUI 9. The first sale of both the smartphones will commence from February 22, 2018. For India launch, Xiaomi has also made efforts and got success in partnering with several companies for offering content on this TV. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with which users can unlock the device.

For photography, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a 12MP primary camera with 1.25-micron pixel, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, EIS, and an LED flash module. On the front, it bears a 5-megapixel sensor complete with an LED selfie-light module and Beautify 3.0 beautification tech. The base variant has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space and the high-end variant has 4GB RAM and 64GB RAM. Connectivity options are- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G VoLTE, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio-jack, and Global Positioning System. These phones are packed with 4000 mAh battery with 5V/2A charging. The power adapter it ships with has been designed for India, It measures 158.5x75.45x8.05mm and weighs 180 grams.

The "Pro" version offers slight upgrades over Redmi Note 5 with its main focus being on the smartphone camera. Jumping straight to the specifications, the Redmi Note 5 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, a colour contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 450-nits brightness. It is claimed to be the first device in the world with the Snapdragon 636 SoC, and makes it the "fastest Redmi Note ever" with an AnTuTu score of 109,692. Helping things along is a 4500k selfie light and AI-enhanced Beautify 4.0 to analyze a face and offer custom improvements. The smartphone will click portrait mode photos from the front and rear cameras.
